Western Kentucky Rebuild
Help rebuild homes as a result of the tornado that struck Western Kentucky in December 2021

We strive to schedule for rebuild projects four months in advance. This site is currently scheduled through July 2024. Applications are being accepted for dates through September 2024. 

Location: Western Kentucky

 

Available Dates: Individuals and teams who would like to schedule a trip should submit an application. We typically schedule four months in advance of service date. If we are not currently Scheduling for your preferred month, we will hold your application until scheduling opens for that time frame. Our goal is to honor all request; however due to limited availability you may not be scheduled for your requested dates or team size. This will be discussed during your scheduling call.

 

Length of Stay: Minimum stay of one week, arriving Sunday evening and departing Friday afternoon. Maximum stay of two weeks. If serving for two weeks volunteers must provide their own off-site lodging Friday and Saturday evening.

 

Maximum Team Size: 15 (a team is made up of 2 or more individuals)

 

Minimum Age: Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Please review our Volunteer Youth Policy for more details.

 

Project Description: Volunteers will assist in rebuilding homes in the Western Kentucky area. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Staff will instruct and guide volunteers through completion of rebuild tasks.

 

Additional Information: Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to the site. Meals and sleeping quarters will be provided. Volunteers need to bring twin size bedding, pillow, towels, and personal hygiene items. Tools will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own tool belts and small hand tools.
